Ace of 'Base'

It might sound obvious but a base coat underneath your nail polish a step that shouldn't be skipped.

There are reasons why base coats are important a few of these are:

• Base coat are specially designed to adhere to the  nail and 'grip' onto the colour polish you have chosen to pop on top. This helps the nail polish last longer

• Many base coats contain ingredients that help strengthen dry or damaged nails, like proteins and calcium.

• Base coats stop colour seeping into yours nails, preventing that yellowish tinge your nails can become from the pigment in  nail polish.

• Base coats fill dents and ridges on the nails, giving a clean surface to apply polish to. This ensures finish is high gloss.
