Happy Australia Day!
The inspiration for Lanolips comes from a humble sheep farm in South Australia where Lanolips creator Kirsten Carriol spent her childhood. Lanolin is a natural wax that is taken from freshly shorn sheep's wool (maybe we should look into this in Ireland, certainly plenty sheep!) Australian Victoria's Secret Angel Miranda Kerr is said to be a huge fan of Lanolips!
The
company was founded in 1985 by Dr. Jurgen Klein and his wife, Ulrike –
scientists in chemistry, herbology, homeopathy and alchemy. They sought
the purest place on Earth and discovered an ideally suited, unpolluted
environment in South Australia where they would farm their own herbs
and flowers for Jurlique skin care. It has gone form strength to strength and now is a globally known skincare brand.
Ellen deGeneras and Julia Roberts are fans of this natural skincare range.
This ointment was created my Dr. Thomas Lucas over 100 years ago. It certainly has proven the test of time! Originally used in hospitals and by doctors as a treatment for minor burns, gravel rash, cuts, scrapes and stings. It now is used as an emmoliant for lips, cuticles, cracked heels, elbow and knees and is a staple in every Aussie house.
Founded by Rebecca Williams of Perth in Western Australia, who at a very
young age got inspired by the flawless and beautiful skin of the models
and actresses on the runway and fashion magazines, the range has now reached the ultimate heights of reputation and good will in the world of beauty-based cosmetic products. These products are utterly amazing.
Well there you have it 'mate'
Until next time.....
