Spring Makeup Trends

I really love the ethereal glow that Chanel and Louis Vuitton channeled for S/S12. In my opinion this look is more spring than summer using pastels, pearls and plently of highlight.

LOUIS VUITTON S/S 12 PARIS

CHANEL S/S12 PARIS

Products to achieve this look:

Base:
This Foundation is super light and easy to apply. It leaves the skin glowing, It has remarkable coverage while leaving your skin shine through.
A more affordable foundation comparable to Chanel is Boujois Healthy Mix Foundation

Cheeks:
Illamasqua Cream blush  in Promise. This can either be applied with finger tips, with a stippling brush or with a blush brush. Apply it to the apples of your cheeks and blend towards the hair line. A little goes a long way here. Try NYX Cream Blusher in Natural for a more budget friendly version

Highlight:
Probably one of the best selling MAC products; This glowing highlight should be applied to the top of the cheek bones, under the brow, across forehead, chin and with careful application under your eyes. More affordable alternative E.L.F Shimmering Facial Whip in Spotlight

Eyes:
White and silvers are a must here. Cream eye products are beautiful for the Spring time Chanel Illusion D'ombre in Fantasme is one of the most gorgeous cream eyeshadows. Apply from lashes to crease. Essence do a great cream eyeshadow. Brows are lightly defined with a pencil, and black mascara added for definition.
